Scarf Me has teamed up with Adriane Galisteu for yet another amazing collaboration.

Inspired by the life story of the model and presenter and her new documentary "Meu Ayrton," which narrates her love story with Formula 1 driver Ayrton Senna, the Race Me collection represents the resilience, rebirth, and strength of a woman who fought from a young age to have the life she always dreamed of.

Between photography studios and racetracks, Adriane made a name for herself at a young age, when she started pursuing modeling jobs to improve her family's living conditions.

Seeking to capture the essence of this story, Scarf Me developed Race Me to represent, in its colors and fabrics, the courage and faith of the presenter along with the adrenaline of the Grand Prix.

Adriane Galisteu: from tragedy to overcoming

While still young, Adriane started working to help with household expenses. The family, which had never been very well-off, was shaken by two tragedies in the 80s and 90s.

In 1989, when she was only sixteen years old, the presenter lost her father, who suffered a heart attack as a result of his alcohol addiction. Seven years later, in 1996, she lost her brother, who died after complications from the HIV virus.

Faced with this reality, Adriane began to help support her family. With a natural talent for recognition, she was a singer as a child, and an actress a few years later, but while still very young she also worked as a salesperson.

Through sorrows and triumphs, the actress, model, singer, and presenter forged her path to success – both personal and professional – with great resilience and struggle, never letting herself be defeated by the obstacles life placed in her way.

Adriane and Ayrton: a love story

In 1993, after becoming a model for a company that worked in the Formula 1 world, Adriane met Ayrton Senna, who was immediately charmed by the young woman's beauty and personality.

The pilot made a point of introducing himself to the actress, demonstrating his admiration and affection from the first moment he met her. That's how, a short time later, they started a relationship.

For a year and a half, Senna and Galisteu lived a healthy romance, full of happiness and emotions amidst the world of motor racing; however, on May 1, 1994, reality came knocking abruptly.

The fatal accident during the Imola Grand Prix in Italy took the driver's life and ended the couple's relationship. His death was confirmed a few hours later that same day, leaving behind a legacy in the history of world sport, and Adriane lost her love.

My Ayrton: the record of this story

The documentary “Meu Ayrton”, released by HBO Max, is inspired by Adriane's book “Caminho das Borboletas”, where the presenter tells the story of her relationship with the driver. From their first day together until the fatal accident, the book presents them beyond their professional lives. Above all, they were a couple in love.

The television production features accounts from Adriane and close friends of the couple at the time, as well as images from the years in which it takes place. Despite attempts to erase this history and the fading of memories, the project successfully represented what Ayrton meant to Adriane and what Adriane meant to Ayrton through the actress's eyes.
