Scarves and Turbans for Pink October

Pink October: one scarf bought, one scarf donated
A scarf changes the way we see ourselves in the mirror. For women undergoing cancer treatment, it can be a way to reconnect with their own identity and self-esteem.
This Pink October, Scarf Me is once again joining forces with a longtime partner, Instituto Camaleão: from October 1 to 20, for every scarf sold in this selection, we donate a scarf to the Institute.
How the donation works
The campaign runs from October 1 to 20 and applies only to the scarves on this page. Every scarf purchased here generates the donation of one scarf to Instituto Camaleão, with no minimum purchase and no extra sign-up.
Who is Instituto Camaleão
Instituto Camaleão is a nonprofit association, founded in 2014, that supports people with cancer, their families, and caregivers, with the mission of strengthening the self-esteem and autonomy of those facing the disease. Its headquarters, Casa Camaleão, is in Porto Alegre. Care is free from the moment of diagnosis, with no time limit on participation, and is available for any type of cancer.
The story began with its president, Flavia Maoli, who was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma at age 23, in January 2011. After a year and a half in remission, the cancer returned, and she underwent a bone marrow transplant in October 2013.
