At Paris Fashion Week, Valentino presented its winter 23 collection, with one color in emphasis: Pink ! A symbol of strength, intelligence, freedom, individuality and invention, Pink rose has become a phenomenon. The color was associated with the Barbiecore aesthetic trend and used by several celebrities and influencers, in addition to being present in other major brands such as Dolce & Gabbana and Balenciaga.
The color was chosen for its multifaceted qualities, and according to Pierpaolo Piccioli (2022) , pink can be delicate, sensual, hedonistic and irreverent, in addition to having the possibility of being strong in an unintentional way.
At the Milan show, Versace presented a strong, seductive and gothic collection, featuring, in addition to black and pink, dozens of pieces in Purple ! The color is linked to the mystical, spiritual, magical and mysterious world, exuding strength, power and mystery through looks.
