Once every spring, when temperatures are milder, the Hircus goat sheds its coat, where the layer created to protect the animal is no longer necessary.
During this time, the animal produces no more than 250 grams of cashmere.
The difference with Cashmere Gold is the amount, thickness and softness of the hair. Of these 250 grams extracted, only about 100 grams of the purest and most delicate material is separated.
The Cashmere Gold Scarf Me is made only from the undercoat of the animal, which is underneath in the first layer. Because it does not suffer any friction, it is considered one of the noblest raw materials in the world.
